In the startup ecosystem, both product-market fit (PMF) and founder-market fit (FMF) are necessary for a business to grow. However, the two concepts differ significantly in their focus, and founders often concentrate more on achieving PMF while neglecting FMF. Both are integral to long-term success yet missing one can create vulnerabilities in a startup's ability to scale or even survive.
